KUHN RIKON FALL RECIPE CONTEST OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER. Enter as often as you like, as long as each entry is a clearly different recipe, not a variation on a previous entry . There will be one First Place winner and one Second Place winner. One winner per household. Entries will not be acknowledged or returned. All entries become property of Kuhn Rikon. Entry constitutes permission to edit, modify, publish and otherwise use the recipe in any way without compensation.

ENTRY PERIOD: Contest starts on November 1, 2008 and ends at 11:59 pm, PST, on December 15th, 2008.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Please include the following with each submission:

• Category--ie: Entree, Dessert, etc.
• Recipe Name
• Size of Pressure Cooker used
• List of ingredients
• Preparation instructions
• Number of servings.
• Your name, address, e-mail address and daytime telephone number
• Recipes must be original, not a copy.
• Recipes must utilize a pressure cooker.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL RECIPES WILL BE TESTED BEFORE BEING ENTERED INTO THE RECIPE CONTEST.

Recipes that cannot be created, due to incomplete or inacurate instructions, or for any other reason, will not be entered into the drawing, nor will they be published on Kuhn Rikon's web site.

ELIGIBILITY: Contest is open to US residents age 18 or older. Employees of Kuhn Rikon, their affiliates and consultants, and their families, are not eligible.

RECIPE ELIGIBILITY: Recipe must be an original. Recipe must utilize a pressure cooker in its preparation. All recipes will be tested by Kuhn Rikon before entry into the drawing. Any recipes that cannot be made due to incomplete, inaccurate or unreadable instructions, or for any other reason whatsoever, will be disqualified from entry into the drawing and will not be published on Kuhn Rikon's web site. Recipes found to be copies of other submitted recipes or recipes under copyright (found in print or on other Web sites) will be disqualified and will not be published on Kuhn Rikon's web site.

PRIZES: First prize will be one Kuhn Rikon 5 quart Pressure Cooker. Second Prize will be one Kuhn Rikon Forged Santoku Knife. Prizes will be awarded by a random drawing from eligible entries conducted on or about the 16th of December. Winners will be notified by telephone. If a potential winner cannot be reached after a reasonable effort has been made, an alternate winner will be selected. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.

CONDITIONS: By participating in Kuhn Rikon's Recipe Contest, you agree to release and hold Kuhn Rikon and its directors, officers, employees and agents, and all prize suppliers harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, and actions of any kind in connection with the Kuhn Rikon Recipe Contest or any product purchased, or resulting from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, including, without limitation, personal injuries, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy, whether suffered by you or a third party. This Kuhn Rikon Recipe Contest is void wherever prohibited or restricted by law and is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Kuhn Rikon and waive any right to claim ambiguity in the Kuhn Rikon Recipe Contest or these Official Rules. All decisions regarding the Kuhn Rikon Recipe Contest, including, but not limited to, selecting winners, will be made by Kuhn Rikon, whose decisions shall be final. Winners are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes.
